8 neo-liberal, establishment cowards have left the Labour Party. Good riddance to shite!

Regarding the 8 MPs who have now left the Labour Party, I say good riddance. All 8 of them are Blairites and wedded to neoliberal, establishment ideology that is now very much at odds with the values, policies and direction that Corbyn is thankfully taking the party in. These 8 are angry that a guy who genuinely believes in the founding ideology, values and principles of the Labour Party and the working class, labour movement is now leading the party. Dear me, how awful that must be.

These 8 cowards, who are so much in favour of a second referendum because that is the democratic thing to do, aren't even brave enough to call by elections and give their constituents the chance to vote for them and show how much they support their decision. Additionally, they have registered their group as a private company so that they can avoid the public scrutinizing where their donations are coming from. Furthermore, as they are not willing to call by elections, that means that they will be able to hold on to their salaries and expenses for another few years. What shinning, moral, decent examples of politicians this group really is.

All of them have used the manufactured smear of anti-Semitism and institutional racism card as one of the primary reasons for leaving the party. That is just pure bullshit. This becomes even more obvious once you realise that 6 of these MPs belong to the group 'Friends of Israel'. Now, whilst I myself do NOT in any way shape or form condone genuine racist or anti-Semitic abuse of ordinary Jewish people; the distinction must be made between that and any fair and legitimate criticism of the brutal, oppressive, ultra Zionist, apartheid policies of the Israeli state, with regard to their disgusting and inhumane treatment of Palestinians. The main issue here is that this particular and very powerful and influential lobby group was set up to support and further these repressive policies, whilst at the same time attacking, smearing and ruining anyone who legitimately challenges these policies. As it is, more and more people are finally waking up to the Zionist ideology of the Israeli state and anyone who supports it. Therefore, these butt hurt, Israeli toady MPs will do the bidding of their masters and scream racist and Anti-Semite at anyone who dares to challenge this vile orthodoxy. As such I'm not surprised they feel the party (the majority of members have woken up to this and are now actively challenging these policies) feel that it has become tainted with anti-Semitism. Now, by the same token I'm not trying to say that there is no genuine and nasty racist behaviour in Labour, I'm sure there is and that needs routing out and should never be allowed or excused. However, there is a big but very subtle difference between the two. That was why Corbyn was against signing the full IHRA because it basically makes any genuine criticism of the Israeli state illegal. It is not that Corbyn is himself Anti-Semitic (if he was he wouldn't have supported the struggles of the Palestinian people) He simply wanted to allow people to legally challenge and criticise those policies without being branded racist or Anti-Semitic. However, to Israel such progressive thinking can't be tolerated and must be eradicated. It is interesting how all this supposed institutional racism only really started once Corbyn won his second leadership contest with an even bigger landslide majority. The rightwing, neoliberal Blairites had been totally humiliated and had lost their best chance to get rid of him, so this narrative was suddenly manufactured as a last ditch attempt.

Finally, if you look at the voting records of each of these MPs, they have consistently voted for every interventionist war and attack on a sovereign country, including Libya and Syria. They voted in favour of May's austerity policies, including things like Universal Credit and harsher benefit sanctions for the sick and disabled. they voted against independent inquiries into Iraq  and have voted to increase privatisation of our public services. A few of them even voted against raising taxes on the banks and increasing regulations on the financial sector. These scum are the very antithesis of what the Labour Party was founded to do. They are in no way supportive of the working class, of fighting for their rights, trade unions, social housing. They are a disgrace to the Labour movement and I for one am VERY glad to see the back of them. They are cowards and Corbyn's Labour Party is far better rid of them.
